In March 2009, Scenic World became the first business in the Blue Mountains to be accredited as a STAR Workplace.   

The award recognises our commitment to engage with our employees to build a sustainable business with high levels of satisfaction.

“We want to share with our visitors what makes Scenic World a special place and to do that we need a team of dedicated people who are continually striving to improve what we do,” said Human Resources Manager Geoff Stodart in accepting the award.

“The STAR Workplace Award is a great recognition of the team we have here and the work they do every day.”

Greg Mitchell of HR Success, who facilitated the independent review and survey process that led to the award, said: “Being accredited as a STAR Workplace is a great achievement for the Scenic World team. 

"It shows the wider community that Scenic World is an employer genuinely interested in creating an environment that is not only productive, but also a great place to work.”
