Sculpture at Scenic World 2021 winners

Congratulations to Sydney-based artist, Camie Lyons, who took home the $20,000 Scenic World Major Award at the 2021 Sculpture at Scenic World exhibition launch.
The judges recognised Camie's artwork, Stick Figures, as a "mythical" creation that was well integrated into the landscape, using a surprising transformation of materials.
Exhibiting artists Torin Francis and Paul Greedy were also highly commended for creating engaging works that respond to the environment in unique ways.
Marking a first for the exhibition, two artists were commended with the $5,000 Environmental Award; Louis Pratt's Legacy & Regret, and Mari Hirata's Sentinels.
Camie Lyons also took home the $1,000 Blue Mountains Cultural Centre Exhibition Opportunity, and Torin Francis' artwork, Way, was a crowd favourite, winning the $2,000 Scenic World Staff's Choice Award.
