MARK BOOTH
Jellybean, 2017
Jellybeanrelates directly to its surroundings. It is strapped to a tree a few meters off the ground, and appears to be an organic, parasitic growth clinging to its host. Camouflaged nylon netting, closely matching the surrounding fauna, will optically break down the structure of the sculpture and assimilate it into the forest canopy. The placement and height of the object on the trunk will lessen its visibility and render it harder to detect.
