neutron waste is a number of objects resembling embedded meteorites. The main body is fired and glazed ceramic that has a platinum-lustre glaze fired on. Pieces of garish polymer clay ooze out of the embedded pieces. 

Waste is produced from the collision of these neutron stars; it happens that platinum and gold are produced. These objects are waste although they could represent the revitalisation of a forgotten mining industry or they could contain also a pathogen that could be dangerous to life. Do we immediately mine this ‘new resource’ that could help the deficit or is there a moral question about the use of this interstellar waste and the potential for devastating contamination. Materials and minerals are ‘owned’ and exploited often without a great deal of cognitive process.
