This was the best value for money I’ve experienced in a long time. We took our elderly parents with their walkers here and the staff were absolutely amazing. Our parents got to experience all 3 rides and thoroughly enjoyed themselves because of the kindness, patience and assistance from every staff member we encountered. The scenic views and the experience of crossing the ravine, looking down on the highest waterfall in the Blue Mountains and seeing the 3 sisters from that vantage point was wonderful. To ride the steepest railway … was a little bit terrifying at first - but a real experience that I am so glad I got to enjoy with dad and mum. And the Gondola and walk to the coal mine through rainforest was a beautiful way to end the day. Thanks Scenic world for this unique experience.

Scenic world so exceeded our expectations. The scenic skyway (yellow), cableway (blue) and railway (red) very enjoyable. The railway being our favorite. We took time to walk around the cableway viewing platforms to see Katoomba falls which was fun. Walking around the Jamison valley was so peaceful and tranquil. Staff super friendly and we were fortunate that it was not too busy. So worth the $62 admission fee to appreciate the facilities and breathtaking views.

The forest train is thrilling and fun, and you can even adjust the seat angle if you want an even more exciting experience. The forest below the valley is pristine. Nature lovers are advised to allow extra time to walk the trails.

Myself and another girl took 4 intellectually disabled seniors, 2 of whom were in wheelchairs to scenic world. We did the skyline and cable car and 2 of them did the train. The staff could not have been more helpful. Every one of them that we encountered went out of their way to make our visit a bit easier. They were all amazing so Thankyou very much 😊

Scenic World is the best place I visited in Sydney. The views of the Blue Mountains are absolutely breathtaking, and the rides and rainforest walk were amazing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Scenic World! ⭐🌿

10 Apr 2026 The place is well set up and we went on a Friday which was supposed to be a quieter day but we thought it was still pretty busy. Got a pass which allowed us u limited access to the three rides all day. Caught the train from Central Station to Katoomba which took about 2 hours and then the 686 bus to Echo Point and then Scenic World. The place was incredible to see the surrounding diversity and environment. The train is allegedly the steepest train in the world and the the cable car with the glass bottom which quite spectacular. Worth getting the ticket for the unlimited day access!

So much to see and do, we started with the skyway cable car. Wow!! Breathtaking views, glass floor for the brave 😀 the landing is another place to explore, either walk around to echo point or go the other way to a lovely waterfall. Back at the main building we grabbed lunch to take with us on the cableway blue line. More thrilling than the skyway the train makes it's way down a steep mountainside to the forest floor. It has an amazing boardwalk through the trees some are labeled with names etc. We heard birds and spotted a few too. We found our way to the red railway where you learn about the mining history along the way. This was the most thrilling of the rides. Very steep, we went backwards as we were going upwards. Braced against the seat in front and tilted at an angle it was a thrilling ride through the rock back up to the main building. Highly recommend a visit to this attraction. It's great to see history preserved and made accessible to all. As well as spectacular views and walks there is something for everyone.

I have an annual pass, so I can visit multiple times a year and experience the Blue Mountains throughout all four seasons. But autumn is always the best. Scenic World's rides are amazing, and despite having been on them many times, we still love every single one. My favourite gotta be the Railway. There are plenty option of hiking too.

We visited on a rainy, misty day and missed the iconic views, but it turned into a unique and memorable experience. The atmosphere felt completely different, and the rides were well managed with friendly staff throughout. Honestly, it’s worth visiting even in the rain.

Scenic World in the Blue Mountains is a fantastic experience from start to finish. The management clearly does an excellent job keeping everything well organised and running smoothly, making the visit stress free. The views are absolutely breathtaking whether you’re on the Scenic Railway, Cableway, or enjoying the walks, every angle offers something special. What really stands out is the friendly and welcoming staff, who go out of their way to make the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area.

Writing Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Scenic World. We went on all the rides and loved every minute of the experience. The attractions were well organised, the scenery was spectacular, and everything was easy to access. We visited on a weekday during the off-season, which meant it wasn't busy at all. There were very short queues, allowing us to take our time and enjoy each ride without feeling rushed. A fantastic experience and definitely worth a visit when exploring the Blue Mountains.

Fantastic experience! Dulled a little by the fact that it was cloudy as can be and raining, but in instances where the clouds cleared and the rain fell to a drizzle it was awesome. Super modern and you really marvel at how all these buildings and transport was built amidst such an environment. The rides are all superb but our favourite would be the scenic railway which at some point felt like a roller coast! The incline goes super steep and it was a short and fun experience. The rest of the experiences are must do too. We skipped the hikes as we were travelling with a little one but found that the short walk from the scenic railway to the scenic cableway was a nice one that cuts across an old mining site and through the entire forest but was nicely paved with nice broadwalks. Within the area you have many great dining choices as well overlooking the entire blue mountain area. Lastly I’d say that the souvenir shop was pretty amazing and wide ranging. Staff all throughout were friendly and helpful! Free parking on site at the multistory carpark and you make a short walk towards the main attractions. Aside from that I’d recommend also to book in advance and arrive on your intended booking timing.

Scenic World is one of those rare places that I never get tired of visiting. No matter how many times I come here, it always feels just as special as the first. The breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains, the fresh mountain air, and the incredible scenery make every visit memorable. The Scenic Railway, Skyway, Cableway, and the peaceful rainforest boardwalk all offer a unique experience. Everything is well organised, the facilities are excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is a fantastic destination for families, couples, or anyone wanting to experience the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains. Every visit reminds me why this is one of Australia's most iconic attractions. If you are visiting the Blue Mountains, Scenic World is an absolute must. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I already look forward to my next visit.
