Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this website, or obtaining or using any Passes/Tickets. By using or visiting this website, or by obtaining or using any Passes/Tickets, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Scenic World may vary these terms and conditions at any time if it considers it reasonably necessary to do so to protect its legitimate interests. Any variation will become effective upon publication on this website. Please note that these terms and conditions do not apply to Beyond Skyway, which has its own terms and conditions here.

2. Standard conditions of sale

2.1 The following words have the following meanings in these terms and conditions, unless the context requires otherwise:

(a) ‘Pass Holder’ means an individual who is issued with and holds a valid Pass as defined in clause 2.3.

(b) ‘Scenic World’ means Katoomba Scenic Railway Pty Ltd ABN 44 000 055 372 and its related companies operating the attractions known as the Scenic Railway, Scenic Skyway and Scenic Cableway (together the ‘Rides’) and the Scenic Walkway in Katoomba NSW.

(c) ‘terms and conditions’ means the terms and conditions set out in this document.

(d) ‘Ticket Holder’ means an individual who is issued with and holds a valid Ticket as defined in clause 2.3.

(e) ‘You’ and ‘Your’ includes Pass Holders, Ticket Holders, customers of Scenic World, visitors and guests of any site or attraction operated by Scenic World and persons taken to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2.2 A Pass, subject to these terms and conditions and the type of Pass purchased as detailed below, entitles the Pass Holder to use the attractions operated by Scenic World. No food, beverage or merchandise is included in the cost of a Pass and this must be purchased separately.

2.3  Pass and Ticket Entitlements

Scenic World will, in its discretion, determine which passes (‘Passes’) and tickets (‘Tickets’) are available for sale on any particular day and time.  Scenic World will also, from time to time and in its discretion, determine which Passes and Tickets may be purchased in person at Scenic World or online

The following Passes and Tickets have the following conditions of use, subject to these terms and conditions:

(a) UNLIMITED DISCOVERY PASS

(i) The Unlimited Discovery Pass Pass Holder is entitled to as many rides, on any Ride that is available, while the Pass is valid. It also includes access to Dinosaur Valley when available.

(ii) An Unlimited Discovery Pass expires at the time of the last trip on the same day on which the Pass is issued or activated (whichever occurs later), or as otherwise notified by Scenic World.

(iii) Child tickets are for children aged 3—15 Children under 3 are free.

(iv) Tickets are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. Please contact Scenic World if you are unwell and cannot attend Scenic World to arrange another time to visit. Scenic World reserves the right to provide an alternative Scenic World experience of equal value if any experience is unavailable for any reason.

(v) Entry subject to Scenic World Conditions of Sale and Conditions of Entry, please refer to full terms and conditions available on in section 3

(vi) Re-bookings can only be made for the same Pass/Ticket or value as original booking. No refund will be given for exchanging the Pass or Ticket to a lower value. Where the rebooked Pass or Ticket has a higher value, the difference in price must be paid.

 (b) ANNUAL PASS

(i) The Annual Pass is valid for twelve months from the date of purchase.

(ii) Annual Pass Holders are required to book a date and time for entry via the Scenic World website. Scenic World reserves the right to limit the tickets and ticket types available.

(iii) Annual Pass Holders are limited to one Pass per day per person.

(iv) The Annual Pass can be created with any number of adults and children. It must contain at least one Adult

(v) Upon arrival at the Scenic World site the Annual Pass Holders must be presented with photographic identification at any ticketing counter, in order to claim their ticket booked online (Scenic World reserves the right to limit the tickets and ticket types available)

(vi) The Annual Pass Holder is entitled to a 15% discount on any purchases made at any retail outlet operated by Scenic World including gift shop, food & beverage.  A valid Pass must be presented to staff before finalising purchase.

(vii) Those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

(viii) A lost or stolen Annual Pass must be reported immediately to [email protected] for cancellation and re-issue. Those Pass Holders receive one complimentary re-issue. All subsequent replacements will incur a $5 re-issue fee.

(ix) Annual Passes may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

(x) All personal data and information provided by Annual Pass Holders will be dealt with in accordance with Scenic World’s standard information practices, including privacy policy.

(xi) Scenic World reserves the right to create new special events or Passes for which the Annual Pass does not grant access, without additional payment. See Terms and Conditions of any Special Event which will confirm inclusion or exclusion.​

(xii) Special events are not included in the Annual Pass, and not subject to free entry.

(xiii) the Unlimited Discover Pass can be upgraded to an Annual Pass. Cost for doing so is the Annual Pass price minus the amount paid for the Unlimited Discovery Pass.

(c) EVENT TICKET

(i) The Event Ticket entitles the Ticket Holder to attend the event and/or participate in the tour at the relevant scheduled date and time to which the Event Ticket applies.

(ii) An Event Ticket expires at the conclusion of the event or tour as displayed on the Event Ticket and the Scenic World website.

(iv) The date and time of an event or tour is correct at the time of publication on the Scenic World website. Scenic World reserves the right to change or cancel an event or tour without notice.

(v) If an event or tour is cancelled solely due to a decision by Scenic World, Scenic World will refund the face value of the relevant Event Ticket or provide the Ticket Holder with the same type of ticket to a future or rescheduled event or tour. Tickets are subject to capacity and entry is at Scenic World’s discretion.

(vi) Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable time during an event or tour as determined by Scenic World.

(vii) Cameras, video and audio recorders, mobile phones, electronic games, pagers and any other electronic devices may not be permitted in certain events and tours at the discretion of Scenic World. Scenic World may also request that all mobile phones be turned off before entry into an event.

(e) GIFT PASSES

(I) Gift Passes are available for the cost of Scenic World Passes—single visits or annual passes for adults, children and families. Gift Passes are non-refundable but are transferable. Gift Passes must not be offered as prizes or resold or used for any commercial purpose, including promotion of any supplier or their products or services, without Scenic World's prior written permission.

(II) Scenic World reserves the right to discontinue the sale of any type of Gift Pass, but agrees to replace that discontinued product with any other item to the same value.

(III) A Gift Pass must be redeemed within 3 years from date of purchase

(f) EXPLORE MORE

(i) Explore More Pass includes a Scenic World Unlimited Discovery Pass & Explorer Bus Pass

(ii) Explorer Bus is a seperate entity and it's terms can be viewed here https://www.explorerbus.com.au/terms/

(g) NOCTURNAL

(i) Nocturnal is a separate 'special event' ticket, that is not included in your Unlimited Discovery Pass

(ii) Running on select dates from April 5 through May 4 (not every night in this period)

(iii) Experience includes a single ride on each of the Scenic Railway, Cableway and return journey on the Scenic Skyway. LUNA Light Journey Experience through the rainforest

(iv) Each Annual Pass holder can purchase a ticket (1 per Annual Pass) using their membership number and receive a 15% discount. They also receive a 15% discount on all retail and food/beverages

(v) The date and time of an event or tour is correct at the time of publication on the Scenic World website. Scenic World reserves the right to change or cancel an event or tour without notice.

(vi) If an event or tour is cancelled solely due to a decision by Scenic World, Scenic World will refund the face value of the relevant Event Ticket or provide the Ticket Holder with the same type of ticket to a future or rescheduled event or tour. Tickets are subject to capacity and entry is at Scenic World’s discretion.

(vii) Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable time during an event or tour as determined by Scenic World.

(viii) Cameras, video and audio recorders, mobile phones, electronic games, pagers and any other electronic devices may not be permitted in certain events and tours at the discretion of Scenic World. Scenic World may also request that all mobile phones be turned off before entry into an event.

(h) BUUNYAL

(i) Buunyal is a separate 'special event' ticket, that is not included in your Unlimited Discovery Pass

(ii) Sessions are available on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

(iii) Experience includes an Indigenous-led guided tour, that incorporates all the Scenic World rides and walk through the rainforest. Before or following the tour, Buunyal ticket holders can enjoy all rides and attractions available on that day

(iv) Each Annual Pass holder can purchase a ticket (1 per Annual Pass) using their membership number and receive a 15% discount. They also receive a 15% discount on all retail and food/beverages

(v) The date and time of an event or tour is correct at the time of publication on the Scenic World website. Scenic World reserves the right to change or cancel an event or tour without notice.

(vi) If an event or tour is cancelled solely due to a decision by Scenic World, Scenic World will refund the face value of the relevant Event Ticket or provide the Ticket Holder with the same type of ticket to a future or rescheduled event or tour. Tickets are subject to capacity and entry is at Scenic World’s discretion.

(vii) Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable time during an event or tour as determined by Scenic World.

(viii) Cameras, video and audio recorders, mobile phones, electronic games, pagers and any other electronic devices may not be permitted in certain events and tours at the discretion of Scenic World. Scenic World may also request that all mobile phones be turned off before entry into an event.

(ix) The Buunyal ticket can be upgraded to an Annual Pass on the day of your visit at the ticket box. The cost to do so will be the price of the Annual Pass minus the cost of the Unlimited Discovery Pass

2.4 Passes and Tickets remain the property of Scenic World and may be withdrawn at any time without notice if Scenic World considers it reasonably necessary to do so to protect its legitimate interests.

2.5 Late arrival to a booking made for a specific time for any type of Pass may result in one of the following at the absolute discretion of Scenic World:

(i) non-admittance until there is available capacity;

(ii) the option to exchange the ticket to another day and time; or

(ii) forfeiting of that ticket.

2.5  Passes and Tickets cannot be redeemed for cash.

2.6 Passes and Tickets are non-transferable and non-exchangeable except under clause 2.3 g v. Other transfers and exchanges are at Scenic World’s absolute discretion and where Scenic World exercises its discretion to allow a transfer or exchange, a per person fee may be charged. In the event that Scenic World exercises its absolute discretion under this clause 2.6, it reserves the right to exercise its absolute discretion under this clause 2.6 in regard to any future dealings.

2.7 Passes and Tickets are non-refundable (other than as permitted in clause  2.3 (g) (v)) except as otherwise agreed in writing by Scenic World (acting in its absolute discretion), subject to any requirement at law to the contrary, including under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Where Scenic World exercises its discretion to provide a refund, (subject to any requirement at law to the contrary, including under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth))  the refund will be returned to the original payment method used for purchase, excluding any booking or transaction fees, and use the exchange equivalent at point of purchase for foreign currency transactions. In the event that Scenic World exercises its absolute discretion under this clause 2.7, it reserves the right to exercise its absolute discretion under this clause 2.7 in regard to any future dealings.

Subject to any requirement at law to the contrary, including under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Passes and Tickets may be exchanged only when the conditions under clause 3.2 are satisfied and any other exchange is at the absolute discretion of Scenic World.

2.8 Where provided, Passes and Tickets are void if altered or removed from a person’s wrist.

2.9 By entering the Scenic World site or using any attraction operated by Scenic World, all Pass Holders, Ticket Holders, customers, visitors and guests agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2.10 Scenic World will not be liable for any loss or expense incurred by any Pass Holder, Ticket Holder or any customer, visitor or guest in respect of, and Scenic World will not be liable for any refunds in respect of (subject to any requirement at law to the contrary) Scenic World, in its sole discretion, closing or delaying any Ride or attraction on a permanent or temporary basis due to inclement weather, breakdown, power outage, refurbishment, acts of God, safety, emergency, health or other circumstances outside Scenic World’s control.

2.11 Conditions (if any) printed on the Pass, Ticket, wristband, receipt, annual Pass wallet, and annual Pass card are part of these terms and conditions.

2.12 Persons must be aged between 3 to 15 years inclusive to be eligible for “children” Tickets or Passes.

2.13 Tickets can be adapted to include any number of adults and children, but children must be accompanied by an adult

2.14 Concession prices are available only to:

(i) Australian and New Zealand Government Pension card holders;

(ii) Pension Card holders from another country who can produce a valid pension card;

(iii) Australian and New Zealand Student card holders; and

(iv) International Student Card holders.

provided that Scenic World in its discretion is satisfied with the relevant valid card produced to it.

The original valid Pension card must be presented at the time of purchase or when exchanging a receipt for a wristband for online purchases.

2.15 All Ticket and Pass prices quoted are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. Any purchase you make will be charged in Australian dollars. You are solely liable for any currency conversion fee, including any fee charged by your credit card provider or bank.

2.16 Scenic World may contact you (including via email), collect and use your personal data and information provided for its business purposes in compliance with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2.17 Additional conditions for online purchases of Passes and Tickets

(a) To purchase a Pass or Ticket you must complete the online ordering process, including:

(i) selecting the Pass or Ticket you wish to purchase;

(ii) nominating a valid email address to receive the receipt of purchase;

(iii) paying the total amount of the sale in the payment method permitted; and

(iv) providing the name of each person in the group who will be using the Pass

(b) The contract between you and Scenic World for the purchase of any Pass or Ticket only becomes binding when Scenic World emails you with a receipt and e-ticket at the last stage of the booking process which notifies you that Scenic World has processed your order and provides you with a reference number.

(c) If Scenic World sends any Pass or Ticket to you by post, Scenic World takes no responsibility for any Passes or Tickets damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost, or misdirected mail and will not replace or refund value for lost, stolen or damaged Passes or Tickets.

(d) Scenic World is not obliged to accept your order and may reject or cancel your order if:

(i) the Pass or Ticket is unavailable;

(ii) full payment is not received;

(iii) there is an error in your order;

(iv) we believe, or reasonably suspect that your order is fraudulent; or

(v) we believe, or reasonably suspect that you will use the Pass or Ticket for a fraudulent or unlawful purpose.

(e) If you purchase a Pass or Ticket online, you must present the printed e-ticket or other proof of purchase required by Scenic World at the ticket desk on arrival in exchange for a valid Pass. You may also be required to produce the payment card used to make the purchase and photographic identification matching that payment card.

(f) Passes and Tickets offered for sale online will be valid for redemption for a particular period of time or in some cases will only be valid for a specific date and time, as determined by Scenic World. That period of time or specific date and time will be noted on the receipt. After that time the Pass or Ticket (as the case may be) is no longer valid and entry is at Scenic World’s discretion.

(g) Scenic World tickets include flexibility to change dates when unavoidable situations arise. In this instance;

(i) Changes to the time or date for the Ticket or Pass can be made up until 12 hours before the session date/time that was selected during the purchase.

(ii) Changes to the Pass or Tickets are only confirmed when an email confirmation is sent by Scenic World.

(iii) Change must be made by contacting Scenic World’s Experience Planning team via email:[email protected] or phone +61247800200

(iv) Re-bookings can only be made for the same Pass/Ticket or value as original booking. No refund will be given for exchanging the Pass or Ticket to a lower value. Where the rebooked Pass or Ticket has a higher value, the difference in price must be paid.

(v) Rebooking’s must be made within 12 months of the original booking, after this time if the Pass or Ticket hasn’t been used it will expire.

(vi) if Scenic World has not confirmed the exchange of the Pass or Ticket prior to the time that was selected during the purchase, then the exchange has not occurred, and the Pass or Ticket will expire at the end of the period of time stated on the Pass or Ticket.

2.18 Subject to any condition, warranty or right implied by, or any statutory consumer guarantee contained in, any law (including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) which cannot by law be excluded by agreement:

(a) Scenic World gives no warranties, and you have no other rights, apart from those, if any, expressly set out in these terms and conditions: and

(b) all implied conditions, warranties and rights are excluded.

2.19 Where any condition, warranty or right is implied by law, or any statutory consumer guarantee applies, and cannot be excluded, Scenic World limits its liability for breach of, or other act contrary to, that implied condition, warranty or right or statutory consumer guarantee:

(a) subject to the qualifications in section 64A of Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other law, to any one or more of the following (as Scenic World may determine):

(i) the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods:

(ii) the repair of the goods;

(iii) the payment of the costs of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods;

(iv) the payment of the costs of having the goods repaired;

(v) the supplying of the services again; or

(vi) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again; and

(b) otherwise, to the extent permitted by law.

2.20 Subject to clauses 2.19(a) and 2.19(b), and despite any implication arising from any other provisions of these terms and conditions, Scenic World is not, and will not be, liable to you in contract, in tort (including negligence), under any statute (to the extent permitted by law) or otherwise for, or in respect of, any:

(C) indirect or consequential loss or damage; or

(D) loss of profits, sales, turnover, reputation (or damage to it), production, anticipated savings, goodwill, business opportunities, customers, software or data, or loss of use of any software or data, or loss under, or in relation to, any other contract; in each case, whether of a direct, indirect or consequential nature, suffered by you or any other person and arising out of any breach or other act or omission in connection with these terms and conditions.

3. Managing your booking

3.1 This clause 3 applies:

(a) subject to clauses 2.6, 2.7, 2.17(g)(v) and 2.19;

(b) but otherwise notwithstanding anything else in these terms and conditions, including clause 2.17(g) (but excluding clause 2.17(g)(v)).

3.2 Scenic World may, in its absolute discretion, allow you to make the following booking changes, subject to availability on the selected time or date:

(a)  up until [12] hours before the session date/time that was selected during the initial purchase:

(i) you may change the time or date for your Ticket or Pass to a later time or date within [one year] from the initial session date; and

(ii) you may change the type of your Ticket or Pass; and

(b) you may add additional Tickets or Passes to your booking.

3.3 Changes to bookings under clause 3.2 can only be made if you have purchased your Ticket or Pass online at Scenic World’s website, and you either:

(a) log into your online account on the Scenic World website; or

(b) use the link provided in your confirmation email.

3.4 Where you have created an online account with Scenic World and Scenic World, in its absolute discretion, has allowed you to change your booking pursuant to clause 3.2 and you have:

(a) changed the time or date of your Ticket or Pass to a time or date of a lower value; or

(b) changed the type of Ticket or Pass to a Ticket or Pass of a lower value, then Scenic World may, in its absolute discretion, allow you to apply the difference in value towards purchasing other Tickets and Passes and, to the extent available, purchasing goods at retail and food and beverage services offered at the Scenic World site, within a [one year] period from the date the booking change is made. Any difference in value is not redeemable for cash.

3.5 Where the rescheduled or new type of Ticket or Pass, or any goods or food and beverage services, has a higher value, you must pay the difference in price before the new type of Ticket or Pass is issued by Scenic World or the goods or food and beverage services are provided to you (as the case may be).

3.6 Any changes to your booking made under this clause 3 apply only when an email confirmation is sent by Scenic World.

3.7 For the avoidance of doubt, and not withstanding anything in this clause 3, Tickets and Passes are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.  Any requests for refunds are at the sole discretion of Scenic World and must be made by contacting Scenic World's Experience Planning team via email: [email protected] or phone +61247800200.

4. Website acceptable use policy

4.1 This clause 4 applies to your use of the Scenic World website (including any services provided by a third party on the Scenic World website). 

4.2 When using the Scenic World website, you must not:

(a) adapt, alter, modify, improve, translate, create derivative works of, or distribute the services or any materials available on the website;

(b) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to reconstruct or obtain the source code, software, algorithms to all or any portion of the website or any services made available on the website;

(c) scrape, store, publish, transmit, transfer, communicate, distribute or disseminate, any materials contained within the website;

(d) access all or any part of the website in order to build any product that competes with Scenic World’s business or the business of any third party service provider offering services on the website;

(e) use the website to store or transmit infringing, libelous, or otherwise unlawful or tortious material, store or transmit material in violation of third-party privacy rights

(f) use the website to store or transmit malicious code;

(g) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the website or any third party services offered on the website;

(h) use the website or any third party services offered on the website to process any transactions in a manner that violates applicable laws, including any privacy or data security law or is fraudulent or criminal in nature;

(i) use the website or any third party services offered on the website in a manner that puts excessive strain on, or significant congestion to, the website or any third party services offered on the website, or that reduces Scenic World’s or any of its third party service provider’s ability to fairly and equitably provide any of Scenic World’s or that third party service provider’s products or services to other users;

(j) forge headers, manipulate identifiers or otherwise send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information; or

(k) send any email or communications in violation of applicable laws.

4.3 Subject to any condition, warranty or right implied by, or any statutory consumer guarantee contained in, any law (including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) which cannot by law be excluded by agreement:

(a) Scenic World gives no warranties, and you have no other rights, apart from those, if any, expressly set out in these terms and conditions;

(b) all implied conditions, warranties and rights are excluded; and

(c) Scenic World is not, and will not be, liable to you, in tort (including negligence), under any statute (to the extent permitted by law) or otherwise for any loss whatsoever, including in respect of:

(i) indirect or consequential loss or damage; or

(ii) loss of profits, sales, turnover, reputation (or damage to it), production, anticipated savings, goodwill, business opportunities, customers, software or data, or loss of use of any software or data, or loss under, or in relation to, any other contract; in each case, whether of a direct, indirect or consequential nature, suffered by you or any other person and arising out of any breach or other act or omission in connection with these terms and conditions,

in relation to your use of the Scenic World website or any third party service that is offered by Scenic World on the Scenic World website.

4.4 All copyright and other intellectual property rights subsisting in the Scenic World website and the content on the Scenic World website (including, without limitation, the software, design, text and graphics comprised in the Scenic World website and the selection and layout of the Scenic World website) are owned or licensed by Scenic World and protected by the laws of Australia and other countries. Nothing in these terms and conditions transfers any intellectual property rights of Scenic World or of any third party service provider to you.

4.5 You are authorised to view the Scenic World website and its contents using your web browser or, where expressly invited in writing by Scenic World to do so, to share certain content on social media in accordance with all applicable laws. You must not otherwise reproduce, transmit (including broadcast), communicate, adapt, distribute, sell, modify or publish or otherwise use any of the material on the Scenic World website, including audio and video excerpts, except as permitted by statute or with Scenic World’s prior written consent.

4.6 The Scenic World website may contain links to third party websites. The links are provided solely for your convenience and do not indicate, expressly or impliedly, any endorsement by Scenic World of the sites or the information, products or services provided at those sites. Subject to Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the provisions in these terms and conditions, you access those sites and use the information, products and services made available at those sites solely at your own risk.

4.7 The benefits of this clause 4 are also held by Scenic World on trust for the benefit of any third party service provider that provides services on the Scenic World website, as though references to Scenic World were references to the third party service provider (if applicable).

5. Standard conditions of entry

5.1 The following conditions in this clause 3 apply to all persons on the Scenic World site or who use any attraction operated by Scenic World whether they have purchased a Pass or Ticket or not.

5.1A. In the current environment, Scenic World has taken and continues to take enhanced health and safety measures — for each of its customers, guests and Scenic World personnel. While visiting Scenic World, each customer and guest must follow all posted instructions, including in relation to social distancing requirements.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. We understand that COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness, and in some instances, death. We understand that senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable to contracting COVID-19.

By attending Scenic World and to the maximum extent permitted by law, each customer and guest assumes all health and other risks associated with exposure (or potential exposure) to COVID-19 and releases and indemnifies Scenic World in respect to any associated claim.

5.2 Scenic World may refuse entry to its premises to any person or refuse any person from embarking a Ride if in Scenic World’s discretion that person may adversely affect the health, safety or security of Scenic World’s employees, the person, or other people at Scenic World. At Scenic World’s discretion, the person will be reimbursed for the cost of the Pass or issued with a credit voucher for the Pass if the person is refused entry to its premises or refused embarkation on any Ride for any reason other than as contemplated under clause 3.12. 

5.3 Scenic World reserves the right to direct all persons on the Scenic World site or who use any attraction operated by Scenic World to whichever Ride is available into or out of the valley, for safety, operational, or other reasons. A combination of Rides at Scenic World is not guaranteed. Scenic World reserves the right to close any section of the Walkway and to direct all persons to use whichever section is available. Access between the Railway and Cableway via the Walkway is not guaranteed.  

5.4 Scenic World reserves the right to load the Rides at its discretion and you must abide by all instructions given by any Scenic World staff, including any Ride attendant.

5.5 Scenic World expects that all visitors to Scenic World will behave at all times in an appropriate manner. Scenic World will not tolerate any type of harassment be it physical, verbal, sexual, written implied or displayed/visual, towards any of our staff or towards other visitors. Scenic World reserves the right to remove any person found undertaking this behaviour from the site.

5.6 Due to health, safety or operational requirements, physical restrictions may apply to some Rides. Safety Guidelines are provided at entry to Rides where relevant. All persons are responsible for reading the guidelines and consulting with Scenic World staff on whether they are able to ride. Scenic World reserves the right to make the final decision on whether a person may ride any particular Ride or attraction for health or safety reasons.

5.7 All persons on the Scenic World site or who use any attraction operated by Scenic World consent to being filmed or sound recorded for television, video, DVD, webcast, photography, social media or other public broadcast. Scenic World may use these for commercial purposes without payment to you.

5.8 Access to the Scenic World site and use of any attraction operated by Scenic World, including the Rides, Scenic Walkway, and adjacent facilities is at your own risk and if you sustain any personal injury, loss or damage to property, you hereby agree that Scenic World is not liable to you and has no responsibility to you for any such personal injury, loss or damage to property.  You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of any children at all times through responsible behaviour.

5.9 Scenic World reserves the right to refuse access to the Scenic World site and use of any attraction operated by Scenic World, including the Rides and the Scenic Walkway, and adjacent facilities by any person. All children under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by an adult who shall be solely responsible for their care and conduct whilst on Scenic World’s premises. Unattended children are not allowed on the Rides, the Scenic Walkway without being accompanied by an adult.

5.10 Scenic World will use its reasonable efforts to return Pass Holders and Ticket Holders (if applicable) on its premises to the main station at the time of the last ride each day.  Scenic World accepts no responsibility for persons who may be left in the valley or at the Skyway Eastern station after the last trip at 16:50 hrs (4.50pm) on weekends and 15:50 hrs (3:30pm) weekdays, being the last scheduled time each day that the Scenic Railway, Scenic Cableway and Scenic Skyway leave their respective Valley or Skyway Eastern stations. Scenic World may at its discretion operate the Rides later/earlier. Once the last trip for any given day on any of the rides has been completed, out of hours retrieval trips may be charged for.

5.11 The Scenic Walkway allows you access to a rainforest area whilst protecting the environment. You are requested not to leave the Scenic Walkway or interfere with, pick, touch or mark any flora or fauna. Your consideration is appreciated by Scenic World and will be appreciated by visitors who come after you.

5.12 Alcohol and glassware not purchased at Scenic World is not permitted to be brought onto any site or attraction operated by Scenic World.

5.13 You may be removed from the Scenic World site or any attraction operated by Scenic World for inappropriate behaviour. You may be refused entry or removed from any site or attraction operated by Scenic World if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

5.14 The Rides will not operate (unless otherwise specified by Scenic World) outside advertised opening hours.

5.15 All persons must abide by any other conditions communicated by Scenic World staff or displayed at the Scenic World site or attraction operated by Scenic World.

5.16 In these terms and conditions a reference to includes or including means including without limitation.

5.17 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales.

5.18 Scenic World is an all-inclusive experience. There are no single trip tickets or one-way passes available.
